The Wedding Experience was a smashing success! The Orion Ballroom was a beautiful place to host the first Art and Style of Weddings event. Brides, grooms and their guest got a chance to see what this venue with one of the most beautiful views of Dallas, looks like set for a wedding and reception. A transformation to green. It was Earth Day, March 26 and the lights downtown went from dark to bright in observing the "lights out" for one hour. Dallas has a beautiful skyline. Love it!
The design was romantic and "all about green"! From the floral, invitations, to the flavored popcorn the evening was fantastic. And most importantly thanks to our models,Bobby, Fadzi, and Heidi our assistants, and the amazing staff at the Orion Ballroom.
Here is the skinny! I came to the wedding business from the fashion design industry and education. I spent 13 years as a university fashion design professor. It is there I found my passion for information and resources, which I bring to the wedding industry. I always think any endeavor needs and educational resource. I shared this with Meagan Hayes and Kristen Dickson (GEORGE Catering) about three years ago. We wanted assemble a group of wedding professionals to be a resource for best practices, trends, and information for brides and their families, hence Art and Style of Weddings.
